Rogue Pictures Presents THE UNBORN Now Playing

Distribution rights for the omnibus movie Zoo are being offered for sale by Toei Company Ltd. (Tôei K.K.) at this year’s American Film Market (AFM) in Santa Monica, California. The movie is being screened at the AMC Santa Monica on Saturday November 5th at 11:00 a.m.. Toei Video Co. Ltd. (Tôei Bideo K.K.) released Zoo theatrically in Japan back on March 19th of this year.

Zoo was comprised of five stories, all of which were based on eponymous short stories by Otsuichi. The five stories were as follows:
“Kazari to Yôko”: directed by Ryû Kaneda; screenplay by Taeko Higashi; starred Ryôko Kobayashi, Miyuki Matsuda, Rubi Katô, Mei Sakamatsu, Reina Hara, Saki Kondô, Nami Uehara, Konomi Yoshida, Minami Yoshida, Jun Matsumoto, Hôka Kinoshita, and Kazuko Yoshiyuki.
“Seven Rooms”: directed by Masaki Adachi; screenplay by Satoko Okudera; starred Yui Ichikawa, Kenta Suga, Saeko, Nahana, Haruka Kinami, Ayano Nakamura, Mami Higashiyama, Patrick Harlan, Mai Takahashi, Maiko Akutagawa, Yuriko Yoshitaka, and Hitomi Satô.
“Hidamari no shi” (CG anime): directed by Junpei Mizusaki; screenplay by Usamaru Furuya; voice-starred Kasumi Suzuki and Suwaru Ryû.
“So-far so-fâ”: directed by Masatetsu Komiya; screenplay by Kôta Yamada; starred Ryûnosuke Kamiki, Anju Suzuki, Kôtarô Shiga, Yukio Yamakawa, and Tetta Sugimoto.
“Zoo”: directed by Hiroshi Andô; screenplay by Shôtarô Oikawa; starred Jun Murakami and Akane Hamasaki.

My god!!! This movie rocks!!! I saw an ad for it in the newest Fango issue and that dude on the cover made it a must buy. Then, I saw it at Best Buy. It won my heart instantly over another movie had been craving for. I got home and watched it. I made the right choice.
