ALONE And SHUTTER Writer’s Directorial Debut Is COMING SOON

It was only a matter of time before this happened. After the runaway success of Thai horror films Shutter and Alone production outfit GMM Tai Hub must surely be looking for more ways to capitalize on those films’ successes. They’ve already split the directing duo up for solo shot segments in the currently screening - and apparently quite good - anthology project Phobia and now word is out that the co-writer of those two projects, Sophon Sakdaphisit, has a directorial project of his own coming in October titled Coming Soon.
What kind of scenes in a horror film scares you the most?
When a ghost appears totally unexpectedly?
When the main character does not see the ghost sneaking up behind him?
When at the very end you find out that the main character was actually a ghost all along?But none of this compares to the feeling of arriving home alone and suddenly being stuck by a feeling of déjà vu that you are reenacting the very same scenes in the horror movie you just saw! .. coming soon.
The synopsis, admittedly, doesn’t sound like all that much but Sakdaphisit has already proven himself to be a quality writer so I’m hoping there’s a little more going on here than it appears on the surface ...
