Nice, as I haven’t seen them for so many years, and now because of that nice little cash-in factor we will finally get them on silver disc format. All series, 15 episodes in total (5 for the first two series, 10 for the second) of these 3-5 minute shorts, with the final 10 all 30 minutes each.

Total is 3 discs somehow - so wonder what extras will be announed? Recommended price is shy of $40, but wouldn’t be paying anything like that online.

Sure there’s a huge fanbase for these still, as they’re some of the nicest and strangest commercially successful pieces I can remember - and a great example of how cool MTV was before it was so widespread.

Wow! Finally see them on DVD! And all of them, too! I think, indeed, there will be many who have been waiting to see them all collected together, as I have… I know in my travels I’ve picked up a couple seconds of deleted footage from one of the shorter 5, so maybe there is more stuff like that floating around… Good news, anyway!

I knew they would do this, just to make some extra cash off of the movie. Good for us, though.

This may be the only good thing to come as a result of the live action movie being made.

I have the previous DVD, which contains all of the shorts and a few (but not all) of the episodes. The transfer could definitely be improved, though.

I wonder if I should sell the old version before word gets out about the new one? smile
(I have the same dilemma with Wallace & Gromit.)

I’m thinking that, though the packaging looks nice, they are probably going to simply put the out three Aeon Flux videos, 1 per DVD of course. Mind you, I’m not complaining, but there probably not going to be that many extras. At least, that’s my opinion. Thanks.

This is good news for me, I just hate waiting though.
