A Zombie By Any Other Name ... First Stills From French Horror MUTANTS

Thanks to Stephane for pointing the way to the first two stills from David Morley’s upcoming French survival-horror film Mutants. Shooting now for a summer 2008 release the film tracks a young couple caught in the midst of a viral outbreak that transforms the nation into a swarm of bloodthirsty mutants. So, yes, while Morley is obviously avoiding using the ‘z’ word this is, in essence a zombie film. But whatever you call it these first stills are looking nice. They don’t reveal much of anything but the cinematography is quite nice and it’s at least enough to leave me ready to see more. Hélène de Fougerolles and Francis Renaud star with former muay thai champ Dida Diafat is a support role.
