A Fifth Teaser For Cem Yilmaz’s Turkish SciFi Comedy AROG!

You know, sometimes putting out a stack of teasers for your film is the worst possible thing you could do. It gives up too much of the story, it spoils the jokes, and just generally saps all the energy and enthusiasm out of the project. But sometimes - and this is very definitely the case with Cem Yilmaz’s AROG - it’s just brilliant. The key, I think, is to give just tiny snippets. Not enough to spoil, just enough to entice, and that’s exactly what Yilmaz is doing with his latest film - an inversion of hit outer space comedy GORA - by parceling out tiny little tastes of what is to come. And the latest one? His time travelling carpet salesman trying to teach cave men to play soccer. Sweet.
