Distribution rights for Akihiro Kitamura’s I’ll Be There with You are now being offered for sale by Eleven Arts Inc..

The screenplay for I’ll Be There with You was written by Kitamura. The movie stars Kitamura as Aki, Adarsha Benjamin as Annie, Daniel Baldwin as Constantine, Michelle Lawrence as Kirsten, Chris Estes as John, Jimmy Lyons as Jimmy, Elisabeth Donaldson as Jill, Daisuke Yabuuchi as Yabu, Chris Mirosevic (a.k.a. Chris Miros) as Stephen, and Lionel Yearwood as Lionel. It co-stars Dotan Baer, Mick Breitenstein, Eric Davis, David Joyner, and Kenny Morrison.

Here’s a description of I’ll Be There with You from the official website for the movie: “Japanese writer-director Akihiro Kitamura explores the complexities of love in both its brightest and darkest corners as he assembles an unusual group of characters with tragic consequences. ¶ I’ll Be There with You chronicles a seemingly innocent spring break retreat to the outskirts of San Diego for a young couple, Aki (played by writer-director Akihiro Kitamura) and Annie (Adarsha Benjamin). Surrounded by their eccentric and somewhat troubled group of friends, the couple’s recently strained relationship finds little solace - eventually leading to infidelity. However, their problems are soon eclipsed by far more menacing forces, which come in the form of Constantine (Daniel Baldwin) - the perverse man who owns the ranch the friends are staying at - and a group of roaming schizophrenics. The tragic events that follow serve as a catalyst for the young couple’s recognition of true love, and acceptance of destiny.”
