The Jackal?

Short quiz recap for new people who stumble into here and wonder what is going on: you can find the rules of this quiz in the first post, and the list of movies which have already been used in the second post.

As lists go, this is a fun one! And getting longer every week…

Basically it’s easy: if you think you recognize from which movie the screenshot comes, you post your guess. If you’re right you can post a new screenshot yourself for others to guess. If you want to guess, but do not want to provide a new screenshot, just yell FREE-FOR-ALL when you’ve won, which means someone else can take your place.
We currently play with three movies at the same time.

That one screams “Shaw Brothers” somehow (Eyecandyman will probably know it immediately ).
“Masked Avengers” had a couple of spike traps, I recall… Blind guess: “The Five Venoms”?

Nice one Aardvark! It was indeed ‘The Five Venoms’. I watched it the other day and it is my only experience of Shaw Bros so far, and will be checking out others on the back of it. Got ‘The Water Margin’ lined up, and ‘the One-Armed Swordsman’ when I get round to buying it.

Nice one Aardvark! It was indeed ‘The Five Venoms’. I watched it the other day and it is my only experience of Shaw Bros so far, and will be checking out others on the back of it. Got ‘The Water Margin’ lined up, and ‘the One-Armed Swordsman’ when I get round to buying it.

Cool! I just guessed a random Shaw Brothers classic, thinking you’d have shown actors if it wasn’t easily recognizable.
I have never seen “The Five Venoms” and really want to, only the digitally remastered DVD re-release is already OOP!
