Just saw the trailer for Gran Turino yesterday while seeing Pride and Glory. First let me say, it looks BRILLIANT! Cannot wait to see it. But one question, what is the meaning of the title?
Isn’t it simply his car? Furthermore, the Gran Turino was a re-design of the Turino, as if Eastwood is doing a re-design of the Harry Calahan years after the fact. That’s my oversimplified guess.
