I remember a while ago when KFCC was updated daily, like Twitch, I used to go to it every day and find a new review of a great movie and some top notch news, but for a while now it seems to be reviewing really bad movies and the news is updated every couple of weeks or so.  It’s just a pity to see a once great site go downhill like that.  Anyone agree or is it just me?

I went to KFCC for the first time in I think almost a couple of years about a month ago. I can’t really say that it’s gone down hill since I don’t frequent the site anymore.
I stopped going when some sort of beef came up between KFCC and Twitch, which was fortunately resolved.

Yeah the output is pretty disappointing these days. Dedication can be fleeting I suppose, however the forums still offer quite alot in the way of news about upcoming movies and such like so it’s not all bad.

You know I noticed this too. I read the kfcc forum everyday, but the site news really went downhill. I wonder why. By the way, what was the issue between twitch and kfcc? I wasn’t aware their was one.

I always thought all the action at KFCC was in the forums.  Was a regular about 3-4 years ago.

Ditto.
Been a fan for awhile but it never changes and not enough new reviews in their already impressive review section.
Maybe the owner got lazy or a new thing?

I wonder how Todd does it?

There was never really a big issue between kfcc and twitch, but for a while there was a misunderstanding concerning the way we referred to them. Turned out that whenever we mentioned them, the name we used linked to another site when you Googled for it. Kfcc was naturally not too happy about that, but the misunderstanding was resolved. Todd asked us all to use the proper reference and since then I’m not aware of any problems.

I used to post once in a while WAY back in the day… There used to be a bit of in-fighting amongst the Asiandvdguide.com members (where I posted the most) and KFCC, like who wrote the best reviews of DVDs etc. I even remember the site where I used to write for (blade.hispeed.com) used to get spammed by KFCC users! Good times.

There was actually a much larger issue than that back at the beginning of Twitch but it’s long since resolved and I prefer to leave it in the past.

As for the front page there, it’s always kind of cycled through waves of business and quiet.  they’ve got easily the most active forum going to Asian film, though.  Hitman’s an absolute machine ... people wonder how I keep up on stuff but I’m in awe of him.

Forgot to add “as far as I know” to my comment.
Damn…
Fights between websites has always baffled me a bit, although it can be quite amusing at times when it spills over into the forums. But with our current line-up of writers and the general attitude here (both the main page comments and the forum) it’s hard for me to imagine us having trouble with ANYONE really.
Well, unless we start making fun of people from Quebec, of course…  wink

I used to visit their site everyday but now like stated all the real information comes off the forum.Sadly not that much going on there either lately. Also the Dragon’s Den is now Far East Films or something. This site ROCKS!!! I’ve found a new home.
