Smartt, is there any way of reducing these photos of the “Masters of Horror” skull set? They are a bit overpowering (large) and would help all of us get a clearer picture of what you posted visually.

Smartt,

Thanks for the pictures of the Skull set of Masters of Horror, Season 2. It’s a stellar set an your effort is much appreciated.

Yet the pictures are so large that they change the layout of the page, so people will need to scroll just to be able to read sentences. Therefore I’ve reproduced them below in a size which keeps the layout intact. Well, a bit more intact.
wink

I didn’t remove the pictures from your posts, but just changed the tags posts from “img” to “url” so people can still see them in full-size (just click on the links).

Well it isn’t often one sees an Indian film posted here (except maybe for LAGAAN a few months ago) and for those “drooling” over that poster etc. I was surprised to learn that this is readily available from Amazon.com. The film is a bit long (166 minutes) but everyone on the Amazon site seems to love it...Hmmmm. The Visitor, what does the title translate to?

i’m not a Hindi speaker, so i’m really not sure exactly what the title means. but it’s obviously a play on the names of the two main characters, Om Prakash and his lady love Shanti. i’m not surprised Amazon has it cos it’s the highest grossing Bollywood film. it’s so popular because it both spoofs and celebrates the Bollywood culture.

Like all of you here I also love to get the deluxe uber sets of DVDs (and there are some beauties in this here thread), unfortunately, it can sometimes be hard to justify these to Mrs SNE. Women, can’t live with ‘em.

However, here are some of the ones I have, some old, some new.

The Hammer Horror Collection. 21 discs of hammed up horror (which needs a bit of a dust):

Battle Royale Tin w/ film cell:

The Warlords 3 Disc Directors cut (which arrived today):

The Chaser SE:

Re-Cycle:

Three Kingdoms: Resurrection Of The Dragon w/ a plastic file (?)

There are a whole host of others, I’ll get around to it sometime, but these will do for now.

I’m tempted by that Warlords set.  If you watch it soon, lemme know if the extras are subbed, that will decide for me.

I’ve also been trying to justify that Hammer set to myself for a year, so far, no luck.

Hopefully tomorrow or Monday, but I’ll let you know as and when.

Mine was a present from Mrs SNE, so no justification needed here. However, just a small gripe, the extras are a little sparse. Some films are loaded whilst others don’t have anything. Then again, it is well worth it just to have a copy of Blood From The Mummies Tomb… Valerie Leon *drool*.

Is Three Kingdoms any good?  Or An Empress and the Warriors?

SNE,

the Hammer set is really nice, and even if they aren’t loaded with extras, it’s still nice to have just for the films.
