Nice. Reminds me it’s an alien head though and man that’s making me wanna buy it just so I can drop it from a great height.

I watch Casablanca every Christmas Day…that set would facilitate this traditional function pretty well.

my friends and i used to watch Iron Monkey every Chinese New Year. that tradition has sadly been discontinued.

There’a really no need for another Lebowski set after the Achiever’s Edition, they’re kinda ripping the arse out of it with so many releases. I mean it’s nice but I won’t be tempted.

Agreed. Also a set that large needs to have some sort of reason for it. That Ganz Globe holds 5 discs, for instance, and the alien head (for Alien Quadroligy, NOT Indiana Jones!) holds 9 discs.
I mean, I can also but a bowling ball or a pair of purple pants next to my current Lebowsky DVD…
Still, it’s mighty pretty.

HOLY…

The Japanese BluRay Matrix trilogy LE is housed inside a model of the Nebuchadnezar.
Check it out (or even pre-order it) here:

Am I correct in that this Matrix Set is almost US$300?  Oi.

It would seem that the Wachowshki brothers have found a way to make up the financial deficits from the Matrix trilogy…or maybe their Speed Racer fiasco.grin (Interesting set none-the-less but I do believe there’s another Matrix LE box set coming in October)

It always looked like a sub, and when I saw The Matrix for the first time I actually thought part of the real world scenes took place underwater.
Especially when those robotic octopuses showed up…

Didn’t they ever actually make a Neb model for collectors?
