Now that a new interview for “The Abandoned” is up please share your thoughts on the film.

Loved it.  Easily the highlight of the inaugural After Dark Horrorfest (how it was released in the states).  Great set and sound design, good performances, and some genuinely unsettling moments.  Loved the freeze-frame when she crashes off the bridge toward the film’s end - just a pitch-perfect moment.

Hopefully we’ll see something else from Cerda again soon - it took waaay too long for him to make the jump to features.

Now just eagerly awaiting the Spain or French DVD release of the film (if they are not already out).
