Yes, kids, I’ve recovered from my egg nog hangover enough to remember that we had a copy of Friky Dingo Season Two to give away and boy howdy, I’m doing just that. Congratulations go out to Ray Salem, you’re our winner!

Our congratulations go out to Kurtis Fujita, who has just won himself a free copy of Aqua Teen Hunger Force 6 on DVD. Entrants to this contest had to suggest something that would be better if deep fried and I would be remiss if I failed to include Kurt’s winning submission. Voila:
I believe that Telly Savalas (of the American Detective T.V. Series “Kojak”) would be best deep fried because scientists could re-animate his corpse and make him perform in the Christopher Nolan revamping of the Toxic Avenger franchise. Thank you for your consideration.
That’s pretty tough to beat and nobody did. Congratulations Kurtis!

Yes, boys and girls, three of you lot have just won yourselves copies of The Spirit: The Visual Movie Companion, the new Titan Books release of artwork and behind the scenes material from Frank Miller’s The Spirit. Our congratulations to: Jason Pritchett, Charles Webb, and Ray Salem!

Our Painted Skin DVD giveaway contest has come to an end and the time has come to congratulate our two winners: Seth Isenberg (who thinks Donnie Yen should punch Robert Mugabe in the face) and Marissa Berlin (who thinks Donnie should punch a They Live era Roddy Piper in the face). Let the violence begin!

We’re not the only ones in a giving mood here at Twitch, nope, the fine folk at Titan Books are getting in on the act and offering up three copies of their freshly released The Spirit: The Visual Movie Companion.
Written for the screen and directed by Frank Miller (creator of Sin City, 300) and presented in his dynamic comic-book visual style, The Spirit stars Gabriel Macht as the eponymous hero and his alter-ego, the presumed-dead young detective Denny Colt, as he fights crime in his hometown of Central City using nothing but his wits and fists. Starring alongside Macht is Samuel L. Jackson as arch-nemesis The Octopus, plus Eva Mendes, Scarlett Johansson, Sarah Paulson, Paz Vega and Jaime King as alluring femmes fatales. Dan Lauria also stars.
This stunning volume contains interviews with the cast and the crew, colour photos & production art, sketches and storyboards and introduction from Frank Miller.
The film itself arrives on Christmas Day - and I must say I’ve rather enjoyed the latest round of TV ads for it - but we’ll be giving these away a little before that. No tricks, no gimmicks, no silly questions for this one, just (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) by Friday sayong that you want in on the giveaway.

Want one to call your own? Simple enough ... just (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)saying who you’d like to see get punched in the face by Donnie Yen and why. With Hal Haberman and Jeremy Passmore’s Special - in which Michael Rapaport plays a man convinced by his medication that he is developing super powers - beginning its limited theatrical run this past Friday we were offered a theatrical one sheet for the film signed by the trio of Rapaport, Haberman, and Passmore to give away to a lucky Twitch reader. For your crack at it all you had to do was name the earlier film in which Rapaport had the leading role as a wrestling chiropractor, which is of course The Naked Man. Our congratulations go out to VincentKukua who had the correct answer and whose name was first out of the hat. Vincent, the poster is yours!
As for the rest of you, check the Special trailers below the break and get out to support this little gem.

Okay boys and girls ... Hal Haberman and Jeremy Passmore’s film Special is one we’ve shown a lot of love to in these pages over the past couple years and for very good reason: it deserves a lot of love. The quirky indie comedy starring Michael Rapaport as a clinically depressed man convinced that he is developing super powers has been stuck in distribution limbo for a couple years now but thanks to the good folk at Magnet and their Six Shooter Films series you can finally see what we’ve been talking about when it begins its limited theatrical run (also available on VOD) today. And to celebrate we’ve got a little something to give away to you lot: an original Special one sheet signed by Haberman, Passmore and Rapaport!
Want it? Simple enough all you have to do is (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) answering this question: Though Rapaport dominantly plays support roles this is not his first unusual lead. Name the film in which he plays a wrestling chiropractor taking on a major pharmaceutical company. This is a quick one, we’re going to draw our winner Monday, so get your answers in quick.
Check the Special trailers out below the break and get out and support the film!
