Based on a popular novel, things turn decidedly grim in Seven Days (Les 7 Jours De Talion), a revenge story by Quebecois filmmaker Podz.
The story is a parental nightmare pushed out to its logical extreme with a respectable family torn apart by the disappearance of their young daughter. And when the sexual predator who raped and killed her is caught but the police powerless to hold him, the father takes things into his own hands, kidnapping the supposed killer with a plan to hold and torment him for seven days.
This one takes it's world debut as part of the Sundance Park City At Midnight program and the early word is good.

I'm really looking forward to see the 1st feature from Podz.
This guy is a brilliant director, the TV serie MINUIT LE SOIR was the most ecstatic piece of TV work I had ever seen. Seriously you watch this and you're entranced at the end of the episode.
