Very sad news for Eurocult fans with word that iconic Spanish horror actor Paul Naschy has lost a long battle with cancer and died earlier today in Madrid. A prolific actor, writer, producer and director, Naschy was one of the most recognizable faces in all of European horror and will be badly missed.

Time for a Naschy marathon. RIP.

First Yasuharu Hasebe, then David Carradine, now him.
At least his death wasn't as funny as Carradine's...
Awe man, sad to see you flee Mr. Naschy, you've done a good service to making film entertaining.
Oddly enough it's also a full moon today as well.
