One of my favorite films of the year and certainly one of the most interesting Hong Kong thrillers of recent years, Soi Cheang's Accident comes to DVD and Blu-Ray in Hong Kong next week. Both editions are fully English friendly and while the DVD is listed as Region 3 - meaning you would need to have a region free player to view it here in North America - the Blu-Ray, as is the case with all Hong Kong releases, is Region A making it fully compatible with local equipment.
It's been a busy stretch for Asian film releases, actually, with high profile films like Chaw, Mother, Turning Point, Kung Fu Cyborg, Overheard and Invitation Only all fresh to DVD and some classics - like the entire Bruce Lee catalog! - getting remastered Blu-Ray releases.

Great news! I was able to catch Accident at TIFF and I will definitely purchase it on blu ray! It was one of my favorties at TIFF.
