Fans of movies in The Bad Seed vein will want to check this out. There's some real suspense here, good performances, and even if the final twist will be too much for some to buy into, there's no doubt this is better than most of the recent entries in the evil children category. I liked it better for instance than The Children, one of the latest of the Ghost House titles that came out for Halloween this year. A troubled young couple adopt a Russian orphan and the wife begins to suspect something is desperately wrong as a series of tragic accidents befalls those around her. But the deeper she digs the worse the tragedies become. No extras here which is a little discouraging.

The movie may be a bit of a stretch, but not as much of one as you may think. Granted the situation is very different, here's a link to a famous bit of news from two years ago proving it's not impossible for similar situations to exist.
