Yep, this weekend the postman delivered to my doorstep the "70th Anniversary Ultimate Collector's Edition" of "The Wizard of Oz", certainly one of the most anticipated high-def releases of this year.

Almost picked this up on impulse the last time I was in a big box store, ditto on the Wire Megabox, but both were too pricey at the moment.
Hm. Are Canadians still being screwed in the exchange rates? Amazon shows this for 51 USD, which translates to 38 EUR. BluRays are still quite expensive in Europe when compared to the USA, so this struck me as very reasonable for aspecial edition with two books. I didn't even balk at having to pay the p&p which was like 11 USD for the whole box (which included a few other orders as well).
The DVD-version is even cheaper. At full price I'd agree that the set is too expensive, but you can get plenty of discounts everywhere.
