Big budget Russian sci-fi / action film The Interceptor is one that we've been tracking for well over a year now and a new trailer has just arrived online, by far the best of the lot.
The first in a planned trilogy of films based on the stories of Vasily Golovachev, The Interceptor boasts effects work by the team behind Timur Bekmembatov's Nightwatch films and they;ve been making sure the effects guys earn their money on this one. Story? According to an article in Screen Daily, it revolves around a "Special Forces agent 'trained by a time shifting angel and guided by forces of the future' who is pitted against the ruthless leader of a criminal syndicate."
So. Angels, time travel, gangsters and things going boom. I'm making a little light of it here but this is actually really visually striking stuff. Take a look below the break!

This looks really good graphics wise so far.
Really?? I thought the graphics were.. well.. kinda silly looking.. hmm
looks like "Legion" with a little "Prototype" flavor. promising...
i kindof liked the graphics too, interesting that black spiky matter going through the fella's head. but the whole thing seemed a bit awkward, specially the acting, at least as seen in snippets like that.
well, uh yeah, angels time shifting and all that stuff..... i assume it isn't too much a problem I haven't understand a word of the trailer, but let's see....
btw: SPOILER ALERT!! --> Does Matrix ring a bell? ;)
