Following the superb Red Road in 2006, Andrea Arnold’s latest feature continued the success by winning this year’s Jury Prize at Cannes. Starring newcomer Katie Jarvis and the remarkably versatile Michael Fassbender (recently seen in features as diverse as Hunger and Eden Lake), this should be another bastion of British realist cinema.
