Just seen Sasha Baron Cohen's latest and want a place to talk about it without needing to worry about spoiling the joke for those who haven't seen it yet? This is the place. No holds barred, anything goes, so if you don't want to read spoilers then go no further.

I am really interested in seeing how walk outs and demands for refunds will affect the box office this weekend. People will walk out by the droves and I'm sure some groups have their protest signs all shined up.

meisterwürk!,

I saw it tonight in a sold out screening and there were no walkouts. Only a few people shouting now and then if some of the women would stop their hysterical wailing :)
I was kind of curious about crowd reactions though. Living in a poorer part of the city with a very large immigrant community, I wasn't actually expecting a sold out screening for this kind of movie/ but I guess that's just me being prejudice. people loved it.

Loved Cohen's one time only smirk when he said "she" to one of the drill-sergeants (if that was their rank :)) If I was the director I would have left that in too.

Great flick. We had a few ppl walk out but not many. Most where older folks that prob where not ready for that ;)

really great movie. I did wish it had more awkward situational comedy like Da Ali G Show or the Borat film. It relied too much on narrative (which was basically Borats plot with two different characters) but I still haven't laughed this hard since Borat, so it was still a "great success"! (sorry couldn't resist)
