2009 is shaping up to be a busy year for Michael Jai White. Not only does he star in Black Dynamite - due for theatrical release in September - but he also takes the lead in Blood and Bone, another new martial arts flick set for straight-to-DVD release. White stars as an ex-con drawn into LA's underground fight rings to fulfill a promise to a dead friend and leaves a pretty hefty count of broken bones and bloody noses behind him. This one is a straight, low budget fight picture. Not much in the way of original story or production values but what it does have is a whole lot of White doing what he does best. Probably not one for anyone other than serious fight fans, but for fight fans? Gold.

Eh, might be okay for a few decent fights. And Nona Gaye looks gorgeous.

Michael Jai White CAN FIGHT! but even great fighters look jus average with crappy action cherographers! He was pretty cool in darkknight, he should get more good roles!
