The long-awaited DVD of Kim Ki-young's masterpiece The Housemaid is finally coming out on Tuesday, July 28th. The anamorphic disc comes with Korean, English, French and Japanese subtitles. A 40-page booklet and audio commentary by Bong Joon-ho are included.

Even though I just watched this recently via Criterion's "The Auteurs" website...and was blown away by its melodramatic elements etc. this set will happily sit aside my Kim Ki-young Collection box set!!!!
