The Worldwide Short Film Festival just wrapped up yesterday and a great favorite of mine - one that I would have surely snapped up for the midnight programs if the official selection types hadn't nabbed it first - was The Black Dog's Progress, a black and white, flipbook style animation. Really, the less you know about this one the better but the narrative starts with a boy being given a puppy for a present and descends rapidly from there. It's pretty much brilliant and also embedded below the break.

I am not sure what to think about that vid. It was kind os sad.
I loved it, Todd. Gonna send it to all my friends this moment...
Lesson learned: Everything in your life gets screwed up if you ever end up on fire.
I saw this as part of Animate TV shown on Channel 4 here in the UK last year, and it is by far the best part of the show -- excellent stuff! It also included a segment about the making of the animation, which was really interesting (it was made using film of over 50 individual flip-books digitally assembled).
I live in South Korea
I can't speak English very well.
So I don't know the meaning of the animation.
Please let me know
