As for me I can't comment just yet because I've been waiting to bring the boy to see it and haven't had the chance yet ... I'll be weighing in within the next couple days. Kurt's had a look, his review is here.
Let us know what you think in the comments section below!

I thought Up was outstanding. I saw it on my own, no son in tow, it was late, but I enjoyed it all the same. There are many genuinely touching moments, especially during the opening montage. Carl is a well rounded character, as is his stowaway Russell. The Dug (Doug) character is also a lot of fun and the dog's conversations are really funny. The Kevin bird resembles some of the older Disney bird characters, like the ones from Alive in Wonderland and is a great addition to the cast. One thing I love about Pixar in general, is that while they don't seem to have the timeless quality of the classic Disney films of the 60's and earlier, they also don't feel like they'll be dated. Up and its ilk deliberately avoid referential comedy and while they are a product of their time, they don't resort to hip slang to make jokes, unlike a lot of Dreamworks' stuff. Highly recommended from me.
I didn't think much of the 'Bird' or the 'Talking Dogs' characters, and I felt this was actually pretty lazy on Pixar's part. Something felt off.
I don't like CGI animated movies.
A sweet and sentimental film ... and a nice palate-cleanser after viewing MARTYRS.
I loved it. It does it's rounds around your emotions, scared one moment, crying another, but most of all laughing your ass off. Very well rounded movie with great comedy and story. Every main character and animal is a "cute" character, but I mean in no way thin or underdeveloped.
Also: genuine comedy: no stupid parodies, lame potty, or overused jokes. Pixar magic (cough cept cars)
I thought it was good, and I usually like Pixar movies, but I think I reach my limit in life for cutesy-poo characters and emotional manipulation in animated films. Which makes me sad, because it is a sign that I'm getting old, at the ripe senior age of 24.
Its starting to feel very much 'Not My Thing', like when my gf plays rap, which I used to like growing up but not anymore, and I could tell its good, but its just 'Not My Thing' anymore.
A little of topic here but I thought the Pixar short shown in front of UP was their best "Short" to date. The movie was also great. I put it in the top 3 of Pixar. Behind Wall-E and The Incredibles.
Thanks Todd. It will be very interesting to see how computer hardware advancements influence the (HD) quality of "Up". Good job T.
i was hooked within 11 minutes but while watching i kept thinking, these guys/gals redid gran turino. haha
thankfully gasSnake and i have the same chemical imbalance because i watered up when ellie died. and i watered up when the movie ended. but laughed through out.
i dont know if it's just pixar but i almost flipped thinking wall*e wasnt gonna snap out of it, this time they grabbed me right away with the tear then eased me back down. left me happy and thinking of love but didnt run it to the ground.
the adventure and filler was easily replaced with other boring stuff that made his love for his wife. a great subtle thoughtful love story with action for distraction.
...
that's right. i cried. big whoop wanna make something of it?
