Does this still need explanation? Yukihiko Tsutsumi's adaptation of massive sci-fi conspiracy manga 20th Century Boys has been the Japanese film epic of the past couple years and the saga is soon to come to an end with the summertime arrival of the third and final installment. If you want more details on the title or series as a whole, then I direct you to our archive where we have stacks of news, reviews and trailers for the earlier installments, but for this one I direct you to the brand new trailer below the break.

At least they are consistent: it still looks like a low budget eighties science fiction movie shot in someone's backyard.

i just saw chapters 1 and 2 at the phillycinefest. the trailer for 3 was at the end of chapter 2, but they turned off the movie for whatever reason just as it was about to play.
anyway to get eng subs on the trailer?
would love to check it out just for the beards. they must have cost a pretty yen this time - everyone has photorealistic facial hair!
I personally thought the first one was incredibly well done. I've got the HK Bluray on the way, and I cannot wait to re-watch it with some people!
Loved the first movie - the way you discover how the cult has slowly taken root in all levels of society and poor Kenji stuck in the middle. Can't wait to see the next two instalments. By the way, first part is being released in the UK on 4th May with a nifty box-set.
