Breast Grenades! Rocket Feet! Scissor Leg! It Could Only Be The Trailer For SAMURAI PRINCESS!

by Todd Brown, April 15, 2009 8:49 AM

Get ready for the gore, boys and girls, because we've got your very first look at the trailer for Samurai Princess, the latest trash gore flick out of Japan. This on e comes from director Kengo Kaji who wrote the screenplay for Tokyo Gore Police while TGP director Yoshi Nishimura's fingerprints are all over this thing what with Nishimura serving as the film's producer. The budget here looks a step lower here than on Tokyo Gore but budget certainly places no limitations on imagination and this is vintage stuff. Exploding heads? Breast bombs? Flying chainsaws? Massive blood sprays? You betcha, they're all in there. Watch for the skeleton shot in particular, it's vintage stuff.

Erotic-grotesque action film from Japan to the worldwide viewers! Produced by Yoshihiro Nishimura, a world-famous special effects director!

The story takes place sometime, somewhere in a world during the Samurai era, where people live together with highly developed mechanical dolls. However, excessively developed mechanical dolls start causing harm to the human society, leading to ghastly bloodsheds happening all over the place.

Under the circumstances, Kyoraku, a mad scientist, creates a female ninja mechanical doll. Equipped with 11 types of built-in weapons, the ninja doll, who will not die even if she is slashed by a sword or shot by a gun, is virtually indestructible.

I also get a very strong Kitamura ala VERSUS vibe from that trailer though the TGP excess is also evident.

Here's hoping I can see this with a crowd at NYAFF this year...

What's the source on the subtitles for this? They need to fire the translator and get someone who speaks the damn language, fast.
Tallest android my ass.
Rapists becoming thieves was also hilarious.

That trailer didn't blow me away like the TGP promo stuff did but it still looks like a good time is to be had with this flick.

The subtitles are from the production company ... this is the trailer they were showing at the Hong Kong Filmart.

Hello.

Crazy stuff indeed, the skeleton reminds me of Mortal Combat fatality's.
I'm always amazed by what this guys make with this such low budget.
