[My apologies to any native French speakers out there if I've horribly botched the headline to this post. It's meant to translate as "My God! The New OSS 117 Trailer, It's Perfect!" but considering how very, very far removed I am from my last French class and that my use of the language since has largely been limited to spouting nonsense-phrases there's a fighting chance I got it horribly wrong.]
Oh, sweet mother ... I do love the first OSS 117 revival film - an absolutely spot-on comic recreation of a 1960's French spy series starring comedian Jean Dujardin in the lead role - and have been eagerly awaiting the second entry in the series, the soon to be released OSS 117: Rio Ne Repond Plus from the day I heard it was coming. Anticipation was stoked with the first stills - still looking like an absolutely perfect recreation of the era - a hysterically funny sales reel and a pair of previously released clips but to really get a taste of this thing it comes down to the trailer. The just released trailer. The just released, well-nigh perfect trailer. The film releases in France in mid-April, for the love of god someone please bring it here soon after.

It's fine Todd, but the proper sentence would be : Mon Dieu ! La nouvelle bande-annonce de OSS 117 ! C'est parfait !
even with my very limited comprehension of French, this looks excellent. Cairo, Nest of Spies was my favourite comedy of last year. It's going to be great to see how Hubert reacts to the Counter Culture (drugs, hippies, feminisim) in Rio of all places. Loved the scene of him almost shooting his own shadow, and his walk-past of the ladies smothered in suntan oil.
I knew the syntax would get me ... I can't think in French word order any more ...
Very good try though Todd! Practice makes perfect!
