Let's just say this one is aptly titled, shall we? While I've generally soured on the whole extreme horror thing from time to time something comes along that still manages to catch my attention and, surprisingly Thai effort Meat Grinder is one of them. It's not that it's a Thai film that surprises me - the second two Art Of The Devil films are excellent examples of the type and both from Thailand - but that it comes from Phranakorn Film, a production house that specializes in low end comedies and cheap action films so unsophisticated that they don't even get much play within the urban centers of Thailand, instead making their money in the outlying towns and rural regions. But the production values here are absolutely bang on and there's just something about food-horror that I find deeply unsettling.
We've run two very graphic trailers for this one in the past and now we've got a third, even longer and just as graphic but once again showing an attention to craft and mood that lifts this well above most films of the type. Check them all out below the break.

If mystery meat is on the menu, go for the plain rice?
