My plane to the AFM boards in less than ten minutes and I have to be on the other side of the terminal to catch it so I must be brief.
I first saw the trailer for Dreamworks' upcoming animation Monsters Versus Aliens last week when it leaked briefly in advance of it's official release. I laughed. I laughed very hard. I thought to myself that this could quite literally make the boy soil himself, which would be okay since he was with his mother at the time. And so I ent to post it but in the time it had taken me to go through that thought process the Internet Police had swept in and removed all traces of it. And I was sad.
But I am not sad anymore. The trailer is back. It still features giant monsters battling aliens and it still makes Todd a happy, happy boy. I'll get back to you on the boy-soiling front. Pixar may still be the cream of the CG animation crop but the gap is shrinking ...

Up has a trailer too: http://www.firstshowing.net/2008/11/07/its-here-first-teaser-trailer-for-pixars-up/
I don't think this film even deserves to shave Pixar's hairy back.
So what does that leave Azur et Asmar as? As a beautiful, hairless, porcelain back which does not require shaving, I suppose.
I caught the first trailer the other day at Madagascar 2. Looks silly and fun. Reminded me of Big Man Japan.
