Okey dokey. Got ourselves a new trailer for the biopic Ip Man from Hong Kong's dynamic duo, Wilson Yip and Donnie Yen. Any and all footage continues to impress. The new trailer showed up online and you can find it embedded after the break, along with other trailers and clips. I having troubles grabbing it and loading it up on the Twitch Video Player. Good trailer but the mandarin dubbing is not as dynamic and impactful as the cantonese dialogue.
Yea I prefer it be in Cantonese as well, but nonetheless This will be a kick ass movie!!!
Yen, Yam and Hung haven't acted together since SPL actually so this is their only reunion (for now).
I'm only glad its not in 3D otherwise I'd be bruised!!! Damn, now I've got to wait six months for the dvd!!!
Simon Yam is great. He's one of my favorite actors and a milkyway regular as well. Him and Lau Ching Wan dont get enough credit for what they do compared to bigger stars like Andy and Tony. Plus, Sammo isnt in the film. He is just choreographing it.
Oh, my bad. But yeah, Simon Yam is good, but he's in absolutely everything lately. It seems any kind of HK film that comes through has him somewhere in the cast.
