When it comes to legendary cult titles, it doesn't come much larger than Faces of Death and Cannibal Terror. Faces is one of the most heavily banned films of all times, a truly shocking piece of work that retains its power even now and seems strangely prescient of current trends in horror with its mock-doc approach and extreme imagery. Cannibal Terror? One of the original banned 'video nasties' highly sought after by collectors for years. Both have just been freshly remastered and released on DVD and we've got the trailers for both below the break.

Must seee!!! Must Seee!!
If you want to see violence, then wait for the new Chilean movie "Visceral Between the ropes of madness".
I don't understand why people keep releasing "Faces of Death" over and over. It has no artistic value, no historical or social interest. It's just a collection of real and fake scenes of cruelty. I'm against any form or artistic censorship, I don't mind "extreme" cinema, but I have no respect for people using footage of suffering living creature for entertainment purposes... "Faces of Death" is not a cult film, it's not even a film. It's just a pathetic shockumentary done by irresponsible idiots.
The first is just sick, the second is just complete rubbish. Going to be avoiding these with a vengeance.
