When this year's list of films submitted for the Best Foreign Film Oscar was released there were a good number - a very good number - that had been covered heavily in these pages already but also a good handful that sounded fascinating but which we had overlooked up until now. And one of those was Venezuala's El Tinte De La Fama (The Color Of Fame). Now, call me crazy but between this and Chile's submission - Tony Manero - it looks as though we've got a little celebrity impersonator thing going on in South America, with this film revolving around two people in Caracas - one woman and one very flamboyantly gay man - who both believe that they are the reincarnation of Marilyn Monroe. It looks like fascinating stuff and while I'm hoping to get a look at the entire film soon I do have a subtitled trailer for you in the Twitch Player below the break.
