First Trailer For Tsui Hark's Sex Comedy NOT ALL WOMEN ARE BAD

by Todd Brown, October 8, 2008 4:32 AM

Poor Tsui Hark. Once the man who rode high atop the Hong Kong film industry he's fallen on hard times creatively, becoming a bit of a whipping boy for people disappointed in the quality of his last few outings. So what's a guy to do? Change genres, of course, in this case making a loopy sex comedy. I actually had the chance to see an extended promo from this a good while back and I really liked what I saw. I man, I really liked it. Only time will tell if the film can maintain its energy throughout it's entire running time but the promo was beautifully designed and shot, plus loaded with all sorts of bounce. If all goes well, this will be a solidly entertaining bit of work.

And now you can take a peek for yourself, the first trailer having shown up in YouTube crap-o-matic. Sorry we can't show it to you in a better format as this really doesn't do the viduals justice, but such is life.

Uhmm.. honestly? NO.

1). There was neither sex nor comedy in that trailer. And I mean that both figuratively and litereally.

2). The trailer was an awful mess. I miss the days when trailers actually told you something about the movie... or strived to get you excited for it... or simply didn't make you nauseous.

3). Epic FAIL. Tsui Hark needs to get his head in order.

Looks more like a 'sexes' comedy rather than a sex comedy. Wish I could read the subtitles at least on that crappy YouTube video.

I can't read the subtitles, but that looks... interesting, I guess.

Go watch a Robert Zemeckis trailer.
