Ah ... Kiwi horror comedy. There may have been one or two notable films from the region in the past and here comes another one. About to premiere at the New Zealand International Film Festival The Last of the Living is a new zombie comedy from the land of many sheep.

A highly contagious virus has transformed almost every human into flesh-eating zombies. Now it's up to three bickering, video playing friends, Morgan, Ash and unreformed rock’n’roller Johnny with their pick of well-appointed houses to occupy and free rein at the local Pak-N-Save, to save the world.

You should be well down with the zom-com routine by now and, honestly, I wouldn't want to be making one of these in the post Shaun of the Dead world but this looks to be reasonable well done. Check the trailer below the break!
