The VISIONS programme is split because they introduced VANGUARD, the line between those two programmes is fuzzy at best though.
The joy is always in the discovery of out-of-the-blue stuff, for me anyway.

Last year Visions had 17 films. This year it's down to nine, less than Vanguard (which also had more last year). And since the out-of-the-blue stuff was often IN Visions, lowering the number means less options, I suppose.
Most of the big popular screenings are not part of the ticket lottery? That seems to defeat the purpose of the lottery itself. When do tickets officialy go on sale for the people that want singles and will wait tirelessly at their computer waiting for it to activate?
