Jose Mojica Marins' latest film Embodiment of Evil (Encarnação do Demônio) played for press yesterday at the 65th Venice Film Festival and will screen publicly on Sunday, August 31, 2008. Blake Ethridge found some fantastic images of Marins and cohorts at Venice, including an image of Marins walking the red carpet in full Coffin Joe regalia. I think this is a different fellow. I am not even sure Jose Mojica Marins has ever set foot in the United States, unlike the fellow in the photo.
Yeah, you're right. These photos are actually of Jose Mojica, another actor altogether. But the stretch was fun to imagine for a bit!
