My thanks to Raku for finding and passing along a fresh teaser for upcoming Japanese action flick Chameleon. I had the chance to see the Fujiwara Tatsuya-starring picture in the market at Cannes and while it's a little more character driven than you may expect from the trailers it ended up being one of my very favorite titles in the Market. There are only two major action sequences in the film but those sequences are stunning, the writing is sharp, Fujiwara is an immensely likeable star, the direction is excellent and I'll be more than a little surprised if this doesn't end up being the first installment of a long running franchise.
