It's the latest film from legendary animator Hayao Miyazaki and despite Studio Ghibli's 'nothing online' approach to marketing the film the trailer for Ponyo On The Cliff By The Sea has arrived on the web. It's quite a different film from his recent work and looks to be much simpler than Howl's Moving Castle or Spirited Away but it's pure Miyazaki. Check it out below the break and do so quickly ... I can't imagine Ghibli is happy this is out there.

I like studio ghibli. I like jellyfish. Looks like I will like this movie.

I does look like a return to Kiki/Totoro times, i prefer Miyazaki's epics, but i can't say no to a new film from the man.
Looks totally adorable. But I wouldn't call it a trailer...
I like 'Bigger' Miyazaki (Nausicaa, Mononoke, Howls), I might wait for the DVD on this one. Looks a bit too cute, but having the commentators and song overtop of the footage probably didn't help the enjoyment of it.
