We've been following the development of French true crime films L'Instinct Du Mort and L'Ennemi Public Puméro 1 with great interest for a good long time now, intrigued both by the fact that they detail the life of notorious French gangster Jacques Mesrine and by the fact that Mesrine himself is played by Vincent Cassell, who we're rather fond of. We posted up the first trailer a while back and it's an impressive piece of work - Cassell looks great, the action is strong, dramatic elements zip and the reproduction of the era is spot on. Only problem was that the video quality of that trailer was not so hot. Not a problem anymore: a new, much higher resolution version of the trailer has arrived and we've got it below the break in the Twitch Player.
