Big thanks to Dang Ngoc Quang - our man in Vietnam - for passing along the first concept art for Dustin Nguyen's upcoming martial arts fantasy Monk on Fire. Now, for those who haven't been paying attention this is the film that reunites all of the principle talent behind excellent Vietnamese martial arts flick The Rebel with the big change being that Charlie Nguyen moves over into the producers role while writer / star Dustin Nguyen takes over directorial duties while Dustin and Johnny reverse which of them plays the villain (Johnny in this one) and which the hero (Dustin).

Now, while The Rebel was a very serious minded historical action picture they're messing things up a little bit with this one. Monk on Fire is set not in the real world but in a sort of alternate reality populated by super powered, motorcycle riding monks battling it out with evil forces. Yes, please.
