This one's making my head spin, but according to MonkeyPeaches it's true. Joe Odagiri and Anthony Wong are slated to co-star - as adoptive father and son, no less - in Plastic City, an international gang drama set in Brazil with Yu Lik-wai directing and hugely acclaimed director Jia Zhangke on board to produce. Odagiri, obviously, has his sights set on more and more international work as this is his second co-production in a row, following Kim Ki-Duk's Dream and the one negative note to his is that since the film is receiving mainland Chinese money it will be subject to mainland Chinese rules and regulations which means everybody already knows how it ends.
