We have written rather a lot about Simon Rumley's much acclaimed film The Living and the Dead in these pages and now that the film is on the cusp of a DVD release - it hits shelves March 25th - we've got a quintet of the magical silver discs to give away. Want one? I'm too tired to think of a clever contest just at the moment so we'll do this as a straight draw. Amazon sends review copies out to a random sample of people and this film is worlds away from the normal mainstream stuff that their reviewers regularly watch ... I put that rating down far more to the reviewers themselves than to the film ...
really? ha! i didn't know they sent out random dvds to people who write reviews on there. that definitely makes more sense.... i've been extremely intrigued since i saw the two reviews from twitch on this. I will definitely be watching it regardless (just thought it was strange about the amazon thing) and will pick it up soon................... but i'll wait to see if i can win a copy first! :)
