Good news for fans of international animation as Japanese maestro Satoshi Kon (Paprika, Millennium Actress, Paranoia Agent) is hard at work on his latest feature. Titled The Dreaming Machine, details are light so far but Kon has described this one as a "future folklore story" and apparently intends it to be family friendly. Which, to these ears, sounds as if he's fusing his typical reality bending scenarios with the gentler story telling style he employed with Tokyo Godfathers and that's all good with me.
Looking forward to it, even though the style seems to differ a lot from his previous movies.
But I've been so impressed with his output, I'll blind buy it (if I don't catch it in a cinema first).
