Remake of classicly popular Korean film or not. Samuell's Jeux D'Enfants (Love me if you Dare) is a Rom-Com favourite of mine...
I must admit I haven't seen the original but the remake (bar the music) actually looks kind of nice.
Omg...they copied all the scene from Sassy Girl except this one is lame and never stayed true to its counterpart. The Girl is rich in this one so its kinda like Cinderella. worth a shot if you haven't watch the original version..but if you did stay away..well i guess just watch it and don't expect it to be good as the original..
Iiiiiii don't know. If I didn't know this was a remake of a very good film then I would dismiss this totally. Looks very generic to me.
the Korean original wasn't a good film to begin with, but it did have a huge emotional payoff at the end if you're willing to sit through all the shit that comes before. and what a payoff it is.
but this remake looks even lamer. there's nothing sassy about the girl; she just seems insane, unlike the Korean girl who was like a bolt of uncontrollable lightning.
It looks awful?
The trailer just elevated the original one on a higher level.Looks really lame.
i agree is doesn't look so bad but the music they chose was really forcing a certain mood on you.
That white girl doesn't even compare to Ji-hyun Jeon (or Gianna if you will).
EPIC FAIL
agree that the korean movie was painful to watch for me and only the ending provided me with a little reason and payoff for having to sit through all that stupid banal comedy bullsh*t. so I don't even start to watch that trailer.
For the intended audience (I daresay which would be very similar regardless of country/version), this looks like it could end up hitting the mark.
I can understand a negative reaction to this trailer if you disagree with remakes for another market in general, but amongst all the shit that has been put out in in English in this genre lately, remake or not, this appears to have been handled rather well.
That poster is one of the most forgettable things I've ever seen, though. I still can't see Cuthbert in that face, even though I watched the first few seasons of 24...
Wow!!! This should win a Academy Award for best Original ScreenPlay..
