We've written in the past about stellar Polish animation house Platige Image - an outfit that is, to my mind, one of the absolute best animation houses in the entire world and just criminally overlooked - and was struck today by the urge to look them up again and see what they've been up to. Sure, if you want to get all high brow you could talk about the work they did on recent Oscar nominee Katyn or you could talk up their gaming work on the acclaimed Witchery but what got me all worked up is the fact that they're working on their first ever television serial! Whoo! Titled Niezly Kanal it plays in roughly three minute episodes that feature the bunny suited family of the image - and the occasional business suited actual bunny - in the sorts of odd situations you might expect would befall a family dressed up in bunny suits. The official website is streaming complete episodes and they're fantastic, even if you don't speak a word of Polish, and just in case you don't believe me I've gone ahead and loaded the current episode into the Twitch Player.
