I can't believe they're giving these away but I'm mighty glad they are. Japanese broadcaster NHK recently commissioned a series of fifteen one minute shorts from the brightest lights of Japanese animation to air on their network in five episode 'seasons', the first two of which are now available for free from the NHK website. And when I say they got the best I'm not kidding. Ghost In The Shell director Mamoru Oshii did one, as did Paprika's Satoshi Kon and Tekkon Kinkreet's Michael Arias.
