Casshern director Kaz Kiriya's next film - the fantasy epic Goemon - may be tied up in a lengthy post production process right now but that's no reason not to be keeping tabs on it. Kiriya has proven to be a remarkably open director when it comes to letting fans look behind the curtain and in keeping with that a series of behind the scenes videos has been uploaded to the official Goemon website to let fans get a look at the process. There are eleven of them there so far and more coming all the time.

This is probably my most anticipated film of the year... Or possibly 2009, depending on it's release. I hope Kiriya releases some high-res art work or composites. Bring on the visual splendor that will be Goemon!
Looks like a hell of a lot of motion capture stuff, is the entire movie going to be cgi I wonder? Either way I'm pumped for it, I seem to be in the minority of people that loved Casshern.
Not to worry Zwanster03, I too am one of the few who places Casshern in my top 5 films. I can't get enough of it. From the looks of it, I believe Goemon will actually be similar to Casshern in presentation, with a live action cast amongst the total CG environs.
