Yes, the film is already available on DVD here in North America under it's local title of Dragon Wars but for serious fans of this sort of thing, the way to go is probably the soon arriving Korean Limited Edition. Why? Koreans are very nearly as obsessive about their DVD releases as are the Japanese and regularly turn out some stunning sets but the Korean releases are always much more reasonably priced than the Japanese. The upcoming Korean set is a two discer that includes the original language track - mixed Korean and English - as well as full English and Korean subtitles. Beyond that the information gets a little more vague ... the packaging is obviously very nice but while YesAsia lists the shipping weight at 600 grams and notes only that it comes with a 'gift', DVD From Korea lists it at an even kilogram and says it comes with two story books and post cards. Any firm details would be greatly appreciated ...
You can check out the Korean trailer below the break.

Can anyone tell me if the Blu Ray release is Region free?
Very nice, but I can't justify spending $40 on a movie that sucked so bad.
Here's hoping for a hefty price drop in the future.
Well, being from Holland I love me some cheese and those trailers looked mighty fun.
Importing the Korean LE will only be a few EUR more expensive than importing the American disc and I really like those crazy Korean editions. So I'm in!
I think the US edition will be enough for me on this one, especially since I think I'm going to spring for the super Japanese LE of Grindhouse... Though differing audio tracks are somewhat disappointing.
