Yes, I'm on a break at the day job and the computers here won't actually let me look at ti myself but that's no reason for you to wait. The first trailer for the new Shinji Higuchi (Sinking of Japan) directed remake of Akira Kurosawa's The Hidden Fortress has just arrived. Higuchi's effects and spectacle heavy approach to film making is worlds away from Kurosawa's methods and word that he's combined the two peasant characters from the original into a single character means this will likely not be a particularly close remake but it's one that we've been very interested in for a good while. So go ahead, go check out the trailer and taunt me with details of what I'm missing ...
Incidentally, for those unfamiliar with the original film, George Lucas has cited The Hidden Fortress as a major influence on the original Star Wars.
